Description

DutchBiophysics, the annual meeting on molecular and cellular biophysics, will take place on the 1st and 2nd of October 2018.

The goal of this annual meeting is to bring together all groups that work on molecular and cellular biophysics, biomedical engineering and microscopy in the Netherlands. The meeting consists of plenary sessions, with invited presentations by (inter)national speakers and special oral and poster sessions.

Topics included the biophysics of living cells and their membranes, the cytoskeleton, molecular motors, DNA and RNA protein interactions, theoretical biophysics, systems biology and networks, photosynthesis, and new developments in light and electron microscopy, imaging and spectroscopy, force probes, (bio)chemical synthesis, nanotechnology, biomedical engineering and applications.

Joost Boex from tebu-bio will be attending and will present a poster on the use of Spirochrome Live Cell Imaging probes for use on organoids.

Joost will also be chairman of the Industrial Session on Tuesday 02/10 (10:30 - 11:30), during which a selection of companies will give 10-minute scientific presentations.

Meet up with Joost during the speed-dating sessions, to have a personal chat about your projects and what your research requires.
