Account Manager - United Kingdom

As a major player in life sciences research, Tebubio helps researchers throughout Europe by providing them with products and services to advance their projects.

You will develop business opportunities within your territory (Scotland, Manchester, York), by visiting researchers, discussing their challenges with them, qualifying their needs, and coordinating with your colleagues to fulfill their expectations. To do so, you will need to progressively get to know your market, share feedback with your team, estimate the potential of accounts and establish the priorities with the help of your sales manager.

Main Duties

Researchers have a complex job. At our scale, we facilitate their work by giving them access to a large portfolio of products, services, and facilitate their purchasing and logistics aspects so they can wholly focus on their projects.

As an account manager, your main duties will be:

  • visiting prospects and customers to discuss their projects, understanding the account's way of working, getting in touch with new contacts (around 2 to 3 days per week).
  • timely qualifying the leads and transforming them into opportunities with use of our CRM
  • contacting and qualifying prospects, coordinating with colleagues to ensure the adequate solutions to meet the prospect's or customer's needs, and transforming the opportunities into orders with use of our CRM.
  • to acquire and further develop the knowledge required to reach your defined goals, by making use of internal training tools and by self-qualification (newsletters, internal training sessions, feedback, internal communication)
  • attending conventions and vendors days to meet existing customers and to generate leads  
  • reporting to your Sales Manager reagarding the main opportunities and next actions

Your profile

More than a specific profile, we are looking for someone who wants to contribute to empowering life sciences. Your organizational and social skills will be a great advantage to achieve your goals:

  • time and territory management skills
  • sales oriented approach: enjoying discussions with customers by phone, visio, meetings; knowledge in qualification
  • knowledge in life sciences: a master’s degree in life sciences is necessary, any experience in a laboratory is a plus
