Water-Soluble QXL™ Dyes - Optimized FRET Acceptors Covering the Full Visible Spectrum
Although DABCYL/EDANS and DNP/MCA are used to develop a variety of FRET probes, their short absorption wavelength and low extinction coefficient have limited their use in the development of sensitive fluorogenic probes.
First dark quenchers compatible with protein analysis, QXL™ dyes are great choice to address these limitation: instead of measuring 2 fluorescences, the use of a dark quencher allows one single measurement and maximizes signal/noise ratio.
