MMP
Matrix metalloproteinases (MMPs) belong to a family of secreted or membrane-associated zinc endopeptidases capable of digesting extracellular matrix components. They are responsible for connective tissue breakdown, bone remodelling and damaged tissue repair. Involved in the pathogenicity of various diseases (such as rheumatoid arthritis or metastasis), they are regarded as potential therapeutic targets. In order to characterize their expression, tebu-bio offers the broadest selection of reagents and technologies.
