Possible applications include the isolation of PIP-binding proteins present in a cell lysate or in a mixture of in vitro translated peptides, for separation by SDS-PAGE and further analysis.

PIP Plate™ products are designed for use in solid phase protein-lipid binding and quantitation experiments. Each PIP Plate™ is prepared with Echelon’s synthetic PIPs bound to a polystyrene plate, blocked, then vacuum-dried.
Screening PIP Plate™: 10 pmols of an individual diC6-modified PIPn per well
Specificity PIP Plate™: 10 pmols of each individual diC6-modified PIPn per well and blocked.
Sensitivity PIP Plate™: concentration gradient of an individual diC6-modified PIPn

Array PIP Plate™: 96-well clear polystyrene microplate containing duplicates of an array of eight diC6-modified PIPns at six different concentrations. These plates are useful for determining both specificity and relative sensitivity of protein-phosphoinositide interactions.
