siRNA: Gene Silencing
Cellular effects induced by silencing analysis

Many studies are using siRNA as an experimental tool to dissect a specific cellular pathway. Inactivate a gene also affects the expression of other genes.

  • To assess the multiple RNA changes in cells, a key approach is based on MICROARRAYS.

High density microarrays analysis generates a large amount of data, making the analysis time-consuming, tedious and expensive. A simpler macroarray approach may be more appropriate to perform gene silencing effects studies.

We are pleased to offer DNA or protein Pathway-focused microarray which allows an expression profiling of key genes in important cell function pathways.

  • Combine the profiling capabilities with the performance of Real-Time PCR
To assess the mRNA expression of several genes in a single 96-well plates RT2 Profiler™ PCR Arrays are the ideal tool. This 96-well plate allows checking the expression of 84 pathway-speicifc genes and 5 housekeeping genes (including 2 negative controls).

Lots of PCR Array covering your research topic are currently available. Do not hesitate to contact us to know more.

PCR Arrays can also be PERSONALIZED, just provide us with a list of genes.

  • Not enough time to perform the Silenced gene expression analysis? We can do it for you in our custom service lab.
