Animal Primary Cells
Canine Osteoblasts (CnOb)
Canine Osteoblasts (CnOb) are isolated from canine bone and are cryopreserved at second passage. CnOb can be passaged at least 10 population doublings. The dog model provides a system for the study of bone remodeling agents such as osteoblast-stimulating bone morphogenetic proteins (BMPs)1,2 and bisphosphonates3, as well as anti-remodeling agents4. Canine osteoblasts have been used in prospective bone regeneration models utilzing such 3-D bioactive scaffolds as polycaprolactone5.

Each lot tested negative for HIV, Hepatitis B and Hepatitis C and negative for mycoplasma, bacteria, yeast, fungi.
